“ I'm surprised I've never reviewed Gaetano's before! I've been here several times, and the service is always exceptional. This past Friday, I decided to order takeout and went with my favorite dish--the lasagna. I called in my order, and it was ready in about 15-20 minutes. The hostess greeted me with a smile, and my food was waiting when I arrived. From the first bite, I couldn't stop eating--it was absolutely delicious! The lasagna comes with two slices of perfectly baked bread, making it even better. If you haven't tried it yet, you must! ”
“ Carbs on carbs and totally worth it! Enjoyed some calamari and burrata caprese to start - yum! For the main course we had the pizza bianca and the chicken parmigiana. Everything was perfect and so tasty. Very nice ambiance. It was pretty busy, but still a peaceful and lovely experience celebrating my friend's birthday! ”
“ Date night was perfect here. We did make a reservation because it does fill up, Glad we did & we were sat as soon as we got there. Our waiter was Elijah and he was very professional and even though he had just started working there he did great and appreciated his fast service and was very attentive. The ambiance is great, love the simple table setting with the fresh tulip and it's simple yet elegant. Their drinks were delicious along with the food we had. Very authentic and the flavors stood out for sure. The pizza was a 10/10 thin and fluff crust and just perfection. Their Beet salad along with their meatballs as appetizers were a perfect start to our dinner. Everything we ordered was delicious and can't wait to be back to try more things on their menu. I'd love to try their lunch menu as well. This place is perfect for family dinners, hanging with friends or a date night. Love that they have a patio outside with heaters as well. Lots of parking as well we loved it here and can't wait to be back. ”
“ Never been to this place, even though I grew up on the hill. It's really good. The service was great. Anthony, our waiter, was ON IT. Super attentive and made sure we had a quality dining experience. I got the tagliatelle and it was really good. The Italian Blend (forgot the name on the menu), pairs really well with it. And this is one of those types of places that have AMAZING bread (especially when they bring it right out of the oven). Also worth mentioning my dad loved the honey old fashioned. We'll definitely be back as they provided excellent service and food. Also, the place got super busy on Saturday night and now we know why. ”
“ My mom and I came in at just after 4 PM and were seated immediately. The restaurant is not very big, but it does have indoor and outdoor dining as well as a bar. We began with the fried calamari, and it was absolutely delicious! It came with a basil aioli, which I've never had before, but it was yummy, and a marinara sauce to die for! My mom opted for the Florentine skirt steak with porcini and spinach risotto, and it was so good, she licked the bowl clean. I went with the seafood pescatore, and the handmade trenette pasta was divine! The spicy marinara was not spicy in the least, but it was flavorful and they did not skimp on the shellfish! Service was efficient. Ample free parking. I highly recommend! ”
“ All is swell!! Delicious dishes continue to be served here. Taking me back to Italy already bite after bite. The bread is always served warm and the olive oil and herbs is so delicious. Beware to not over indulge so you can enjoy your meal. There are plenty of options from lighter fare to a meal for two. The bread pudding is so buttery and delicious. Service has been amazing and at least 3 people checked on our table. ”
“ Good food! I got the pastrami sandwich which I found to be very good. The sauce was the real winner I found. The free bread was a little hard however. Vibes were good, we ate outside which was delightful. It was a little loud with both the noises of fellow customers and the street sounds though. I would definitely come back! ”
“ Cute little Italian restaurant! Been here a couple times now. Friendly and great service both times. Love the atmosphere, especially when the speakers are playing Sinatra. Tasty Bruschetta! Flavorful mix of fresh diced tomatoes, garlic, and basil. The crostini was perfectly toasted. Would absolutely order this again. https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/gaetanos-restaurant-torrance?select=dxUSmzozSWW-GPytT2w9Aw On both of my visits I've orders the Citrus Beet Salad minus the gorgonzola. The picked onions pair well with the flavors of the sliced oranges and beets. Sliced almonds add a nice crunch. Just the right amount of balsamic vinaigrette. Surprisingly filling! https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/gaetanos-restaurant-torrance?select=s5N-HsIGG8odeorXUpYRvw The complimentary focaccia bread is a must! It comes with a dish of olive oil for dipping. We like to ask them to add balsamic to the dish :) https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/gaetanos-restaurant-torrance?select=GzUgUVmdU9GgIarg3n1bfg Last time we were here we stumbled upon happy hour which is everyday from 2pm - 5pm. $3 off appetizers and drinks. Hellooooo Lavender Lemonade Martini! https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/gaetanos-restaurant-torrance?select=vepPH0U_0H5vB2G1unGVMw ”
“ Everyone needs a solid neighborhood Italian spot and Gaetano's is it. Great food and friendly service (very kid-friendly), I would try and make a reservation if you can because it gets packed during dinner time. We were hesitant about sitting on the outdoor patio but the heat lamps make the entire place feel very cozy. My personal favorite is the tagliatelle & chianti short ribs. I love the chianti sauce and think it pairs perfectly with the al dente noodles. The short rib is super tender and every time we come, that's my go-to order. I've tried the roasted butternut squash ravioli too and it's solid. Honestly, I don't think you can go wrong with anything on the menu here. ”
